Daily Journal Continued November4,1998, By-William Thomas Thompson Its a rainy Wednesday morning in Central Florida as I had planned to hit it hard and heavy to put details on the trailer art and to letter in the scripture,I was up hours lastnight detailing all of the layout to be painted,I was hoping my car would be fixed today so I can be on my way home if can beat the rain and paint atleast 2days worth in only one,it will take a miracle I thought as I was crossing the 4 lane to Mama's little kitchen early for breakfast. My friend picked me up at8.30with bad news that some of the paint from late yesterday had washed down and shifted, not drying before the rains started here in Kissimmee during the night. I tried but the paint run down, the air was wet and I knew I must stop for now until this storm Mitch passes over and let things dry. Over night a giant sinkhole sunk 40feet into the ground just on the otherend of town. The Disney exit offI-4doublelanes sunk suddenly taking a toll of both lanes about 100feet wide and cracking like it may do more sinking to a wider area. Thank God that it happened while no person was driving over,it could have taken carloads down to die. After awhile my friend took me to Apopka to check on my car and I saw Joey on the rack finishing my car up saying that he would not charge me to put in another transmission and that he was making a complete change in all fittings and seals to be sure of no leaks, By now the rain was heavy and I drove North on I-4 to Daytonna w/ a stop for gas and to check for any leak at a Citgo Station on I- 95,then continued North to Jacksonville in blinding rain where to wait in a long line to cross the St.John's River and continue the push on up I-95by Savannah,Hardeville,Walterboro and St.George to I-26 and North/West 160 more miles to home sweet home,550miles in all from Winter park. My speedometer I can tell is not calibrated with this new transmission,I am going 75while showing 85 clocking the mile markers. I could feel the cold more as I drove North but the sky was clear from the Savannah River,I arrived home at 12pm. Praise the Lord for life eternal. Praise Him all day long. I want to go back down and complete the art on the trailer before it is shipped from Cape Canaveral to Haiti. This mobil bill board sign will stay in Haiti and be a witness of the Gospel. Everytime I have trouble it seems to result in a greater blessing than what I could ever dream of. To paint a international traveling trailer on all 4 sides with paint supplied and help to prime and paint on the background is a dream come true for me. We must be willing to serve where God puts us and not just where we want to be or where we can be paid to be. Forget money, when we live by faith we shall always be provided for with the very finest of all things whatso- ever we need. Let us speak the truth and fear God. I say,Be brave and look the devil straight in the face to condemn sin with great authority, tell the drugaddicts, the pimps and pushers tostop their life styles of destruction of people and be delivered. Never fear the devil unless you do business with him. Stand up for truth and right and be somebody with principles and moral standards clearly in harmony with the will of God. A life will bloom like a rose in the Springtime when Gods rules are obeyed. Let it be shouted from every housetop and painted on every trailer leaving the U.S.A.,so Let us condemn sin and witness for God and right, Let every toug- ue confess Him as Lord. Let our conversation be holy as unto God.
